Custom Assemblies: Your One-Stop Source
| "Value Added" defines a major advantage that our customers enjoy
when they turn to INSCO to single-source the responsibility for their geared assemblies.
We not only engineer and manufacture the necessary gearing, we design, specify and
purchase castings, shafts, seals, bearings, even motors and electronic components. We make
certain that the assembly our customers receives is fully tested, and
performance-guaranteed as a system, not just a collection of multiple-source components. |

Design Engineering
At INSCO we draw on years of experience in designing and developing
special purpose gears and gear assemblies. Working with the most advanced CAD systems, our
engineers and designers translate our customer's needs into practical solutions.
Gear Manufacturing
We manufacture the gears that we use in the assemblies we build, giving us
complete control over these critical components. We hob fine, medium and coarse pitch
gears to AGMA Quality 9-10, and finish grind them to tighter tolerances when needed.
Quality Control
Quality control is a way of life at INSCO. It is the responsibility of
each machinist to monitor every dimension of the work piece that he generates,
facilitating Statistical Process Control when required. Gear analysis systems, accurate to
a micron, ensure that even microscopic errors do not jeopardize the performance of our
assemblies.
Receiving Inspection
We make sure that components purchased from outside sources, such as
castings and motors, meet strict quality standards specified by our engineers. This step
is basic to the Total System Responsibility that our customer's appreciate.
Assembly
Assembly of simple or complex drive systems is a refined specialty at
INSCO. Skilled technicians and assemblers make sure that all components function as
intended, another key to Total System Responsibility.
Design Review
Product designs are reviewed regularly, and communication with our
customers is maintained constantly. This ensures that product improvements, cost
reductions, or evolutionary changes are incorporated efficiently and in a timely manner.
