Carousel-loaded, fully automated CNC hobbers and grinders produce blanket-order quantities up to 100,000 gears annually, while our extensive in-house tooling library and on-site hob and cutter sharpening keep lead times short and consistent.
Gear quality starts with the blank, so we hold blank tolerances to a few ten-thousandths of an inch, even at 36 inches in diameter. Gears are rough-hobbed for finish grinding or hobbed complete to AGMA 10, with finish grinding up to AGMA 15. High-volume cells run under full Statistical Process Control with networked gear-inspection data collection.
