PRECISION INTERNAL GEARS AND RING GEARS

Internal gears (ring gears) have teeth cut on the inside diameter of a cylindrical blank. They are fundamental components in planetary gear systems, epicyclic drives, and compact gear arrangements where external gears mesh with the internal teeth from inside the ring.

INSCO manufactures internal spur gears using CNC gear shaping equipment. The Liebherr LORENZ LS 156 CNC shaper and Fellows 36-6 shaper produce internal gears with controlled involute profile, accurate pitch, and tight tooth thickness tolerances.
