We inspect throughout the build, not just at the end. Gears are checked after cutting, after grinding, after secondary operations, and again before they ship. Catching a problem early protects the lead time and the delivery date.
Precision ground gears get 100% analytical inspection as standard. We measure involute profile, lead, pitch, runout, tooth thickness, and surface finish on every gear. Our four M&M analytical gear analyzers compare actual tooth geometry to the computer model to within one micron, confirm both AGMA and European DIN quality levels, and store the results electronically for later reference.
